Excellent Thermal Performance

  • 0.19W/m2K with standard masonry wall.
  • reduced to 0.16W/m2K with use of additional silver foils (which also greatly assist air-tightness).
  • and lower than 0.15W/m2K if used with insulated render systems.
  • Excellent Air-Tightness
  • the panel on its own, measured through the vertical joint, achieves an air-tightness of 0.8m3/m2hr.
  • but air-tightness is all down to detailing. When used in conjunction with silver foil, values of <2m3/m2hr are achievable (subject to detailing).

  • New Building Regulations set tough standards as regards Thermal Bridging.
