Janet joined the MIB Group as HR Director in March 2011 and she has a wide-ranging remit that covers all aspects of people relationships in the company.
Her skills include career development and performance management, pay and benefits, communications, training and coaching; and works closely with the Finance, IT and Health & Safety Managers to provide a seamless professional support structure for the company and all our employees.
She spent the first ten years of her career in technical and business facing roles within IT and after becoming increasingly drawn to the people management aspects of her roles, she took the opportunity to move into HR via technical recruitment. A number of roles in the High Tech sector followed, including experience in Fleet Management; setting up a Flexible Benefits program and an increasing focus on Compensation & Benefits; and she chose to consolidate her diverse skill sets in 2007 by achieving the CIPD Advanced Certificate in Reward Management.
Janet lives in Hampshire and alternates working from home with spending time at our Cardiff, Cheshire and Factory sites. When not beavering away at work, she lives a very staid life as an international woman of mystery — fighting injustice, saving small animals from peril and eating gourmet meals prepared by her husband. She usually prefers red to white wine except on gloriously hot summer days, and is very partial to fine champagne.
